This blogging stuff is harder than I thought. It was a busy week at work, and I had a lot on my mind, but seven days without finding time for a single post? That seems excessive.

I didn’t expect to become a prolific blogger overnight (and it doesn’t help that my personality is not one that makes it easy to blog without an audience) , but I would have hoped to post more than once a week. Surely I can find time to post something as inane as “I have no time to post!”

I even have a topic I want to post about. Maybe I’ll go see Star Trek again next weekend and then post about it.

Is it wrong to create a blog in hopes of winning a Wii?

My immediate and unqualified answer to this question is “YES”.

Fortunately, I have wanted to create a blog here anyway, and the chance to win a Wii was only a good motivator to finally do this.

Because of this mitigating factor, I have to reduce that “YES” to a much softer “ALMOST CERTAINLY”.

On the off chance that Bob Lotich is more generous than I am, I will link now to his contest. Bob is giving away a Wii and an iPod in celebration of the second birthday of his insightful blog, ChristianPF.com.

Congratulations on two years, Bob. If at all possible, I will try to get some traffic here and maybe send a few readers your way.

This blog may be doomed to failure from before it begins. This is partly because if I decide to really run a blog, I will likely put it somewhere else.

But I have to start somewhere, right? Might as well be here.
